Seymour-Hannah vaccination clinic accepting walk-in appointments

  • Starting today, Niagara Health’s Seymour-Hannah vaccination clinic is accepting daily walk-in appointments on a first-come, first-served basis for first and second doses between 9:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
  • Residents also continue to have the option to book future date or same day appointments through the provincial booking tool or by calling 1-833-943-3900.
  • The Seymour-Hannah clinic, located at 240 St. Paul St. West in St. Catharines, will wind down in mid-August.
  • A smaller vaccination clinic will be opened at the St. Catharines hospital to continue vaccinating those who still need their first or second dose.

Niagara Health closing COVID-19 vaccination clinic at Seymour-Hannah arena

  • Niagara Health announced today that it will wind down its mass vaccination clinic at the Seymour-Hannah arena in mid-August, allowing the sports and entertainment centre to be returned to the City of St. Catharines.
  • A smaller vaccination clinic will be opened at the St. Catharines hospital to continue vaccinating those who still need their first or second dose.
  • As of July 21, Niagara Health has administered 238,651 doses at its mass immunization clinic.

Canada to partially open border on August 9

  • Canada will allow fully vaccinated Americans into the country starting on Aug. 9 for discretionary purposes if they have been vaccinated at least 14 days prior to arrival.
  • Fully vaccinated individuals from other countries will be allowed into Canada beginning Sept. 7 for discretionary purposes and only if the domestic COVID-19 situation continues to remain “favourable.”
