1st shipment of Johnson & Johnson's COVID-19 vaccine now in Canada. 304,800 doses of the vaccine arrived at Toronto's Pearson International Airport today and will distributed to the provinces and territories. Unlike other vaccines, only 1 dose is needed to be fully vaccinated.

Niagara Region Public Health using text messaging to reach positive cases and close contacts

To reach positive COVID-19 cases and their close contacts, Niagara Region Public Health has started using a text messaging service.
The messages will go out to individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 or who have been identified as close contacts.
Those who have tested positive will be directed to a web-based form where they can fill in their symptoms and close contacts.
Messages will only be sent to those individuals who’s numbers were provided to the lab and all information is kept confidential.
