  • A group of active and retired police officers from several forces, including three members of the Niagara Regional Police, have launched a charter challenge over Ontario’s pandemic orders, alleging that enforcing the rules requires officers to breach their oath to uphold the constitution.   • Niagara’s public health office has confirmed that the COVID-19 “double mutation” has been found in Niagara. The more contagious variant was first discovered in India last month, resulting in Canada banning all direct flights from India and Pakistan. (Thorold News)
