St. Catharines spearheads free youth mental wellbeing virtual event
- The city of St. Catharines will be hosting a free virtual event on June 18 to assist local youth with their mental wellbeing and motivation during the pandemic.
- The event, titled Youth Matters: How to maintain resilience and prioritize mental wellbeing, will take place on June 18 via hopin.com, a virtual venue with multiple interactive areas.
- Attendees will be able to move in and out of virtual rooms to take advantage of break-out sessions and meet one-on-one with peers as well as presenters using a networking feature.

Community outdoor ice rinks welcome skaters
- The city of St. Catharines will be opening up three community outdoor ice rinks.
- Outdoor ice rinks are available at the Port Dalhousie Lions Park (205 Main St.), Partridge Park (101 South Dr.) and St. Patrick’s Park (64 Catherine St)
- Ice availability and skating conditions are dependent upon the weather.
- The rinks have been built by and are operated by resident volunteer groups within the individual neighbourhoods.
