Pumpkinville pop up at Farmers Market on Oct. 16

Pumpkinville will take place Saturday, Oct. 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Market Square.
The community can register to receive one of 500 pumpkins, along with a reusable Pumpkinville tote bag, by registering in advance.
A link to register is available at www.stcatharines.ca/Pumpkinville, and those who register are required to select a designated timeslot for pickup on the day of the event.
The event will also feature colouring and pumpkin decorating contests and a themed photo booth.

Culture Days returns for a month of free activities

St. Catharines is gearing up to present more than 100 arts and culture activities as part of Culture Days, the annual nation-wide event that invites the public to participate in the cultural landscapes of Canadian communities.
Culture Days is expanding its traditional weekend-long format to fill an entire month – this year running from September 24 to October 24.
A wide variety of in-person activities will be available including sculpture, painting, mixed media and drawing workshops.
Virtual experiences will include digital photo editing, traditional animation, drama, and art-making workshops.
