- NOTL Council Approves Budget – Niagara-on-the-Lake council has approved the 2024 operating budget at $48.5 million, an increase of 6.75% from 2023. The operating budget allocates funds to maintain the day-to-day functions of the town such as recreation programs, parks, fire services, planning and development, administrative services, road and sidewalk maintenance, winter operations and library services. - IceDogs Lose Lottery – The Niagara IceDogs were awarded the fourth overall pick in the 2024 OHL Priority Selection following Wednesday evening’s lottery. The weighted lottery saw the IceDogs have the highest odds at getting the first overall pick at 40% and they could do no worse than the fourth overall pick. (Niagara IceDogs)
