- IceDogs Won’t Make Playoffs – The Niagara IceDogs have been eliminated from making the playoffs after loses to Ottawa (7-1) and Peterborough (6-4) this weekend. The IceDogs have failed to make the playoffs for the 4th straight season after making the playoffs for 12 consecutive seasons.
- Brock Wins Championship – The Brock University Women’s Volleyball team won the OUA Championships after defeating McMaster on Friday. Brock will now play for the National Championships. (Brock University)
- Falcons Lead Series 2-0 – The St. Catharines Falcons opened the Golden Horseshoe Conference Quarterfinals with a pair of victories of the Pelham Panthers. Game 3 of the best-of-seven series is Tuesday in St. Catharines.
