  • IceDogs Lose Big – The Niagara IceDogs lost both games last week, falling to Oshawa 7-2 and Kingston 8-1. The IceDogs remain in last place in the OHL and are now 10 points out of a playoff spot with only 11 games left to play.
  • Win For Canada Basketball – Canada defeated Nicaragua 96-51 at the Meridian Centre on Friday in a 2025 FIBA AmeriCup Qualifying game. Attendance at the game was 3821 and Canadian head coach Nate Bjorkgren said that it was great to play in front of a passionate, loud crowd. (Giant FM)
  • Jackfish Sellout – The Welland Jackfish have announced that their inaugural school day game on May 7 is officially sold out. (Twitter)
