The Ontario governent has filed an appeal to a court decision that found Bill 124 — legislation that caps pay increases for most public sector workers at one per cent for three years— is unconstitutional. - Class Action Lawsuit Over Long-Term Care Deaths – A proposed class action against the Ontario government alleging gross negligence in preventing COVID-19 long-term care deaths and serious infection may be able to proceed to trial, pending a possible appeal from the province.
