The St. Catharines Falcons fell to the Hamilton Kilty B’s 4-2 Wednesday night in Hamilton in game 5 of their Golden Horseshoe Conference Championship. The best-of-seven series now stands at 3-2 in favour of the Falcons with game 6 taking place Friday at 7 PM at the Jack Gatecliff Arena. (BP Sports Niagara)
The St. Catharines Jr. A Athletics defeated the Peterborough Lakers 9-5 in their home opener Wednesday night at the Canada Games Park Arena. The game was the first event to take place in the Canada Games Park Arena which is located adjacent to Brock University. The Athletics next home game is Wednesday, May 18 at 8 PM at Canada Games Park Arena.
