Niagara IceDogs Draft. On Friday, the Niagara IceDogs drafted defenceman Sam Dickinson with their first round (4th overall) pick in the 2022 OHL Priority Selection followed by forward Kevin He in the second round (25th overall). On Saturday, the draft continued with the IceDogs adding nine more players, including local player Andrew Vermeulen in the fourth round. (Niagara IceDogs)
St. Catharines Falcons. The St. Catharines Falcons opened their best-of-seven Golden Horseshoe Conference championships with a 6-2 win over the Hamilton Kilty B’s on Monday. Game two will take place Wednesday in Hamilton with game three Friday in St. Catharines at 7:00 PM. (BP Sports Niagara)
