Photo: Niagara IceDogsIceDogs acquire Aidan Castle in trade with Oshawa
- The Niagara IceDogs completed a trade with the Oshawa Generals for the rights to the Generals’ 2020 OHL Priority Selection first round pick (13th overall), Aidan Castle.
- In exchange, the IceDogs sent their 2nd, 3rd, and 4th round picks in 2022 as well as their 4th round pick in 2024 to Oshawa.
- Castle had not yet signed with the Generals.
- IceDogs’ General Manager Joey Burke said they are still working with the family and agency on having Castle officially commit to Niagara but are confident he will play for the IceDogs this season.
