Jackfish drop game in Kitchener
- After getting rained out at home on Saturday, the Welland Jackfish travelled to Kitchener on Sunday to take on the Kitchener Panthers.
- The Jackfish fell to the Panthers 18-7.
- For the Jackfish, Dane Tofteland went 3-for-4 with a home run, three RBIs and three runs.
- The Jackfish’s next game is at the Welland Stadium Thursday at 7:30pm against the Panthers once again.
- On Tuesday, the Jackfish announced that they have signed right-handed pitcher and five-time IBL Champion, Brett Lawson, who was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in 2001.
