River Lions clipped by Honey Badgers 78-76
- The Hamilton Honey Badgers (6-1) erased a 17-point second-half deficit to shock the Niagara River Lions (3-3) by a score of 78-76 on Sunday afternoon at the FirstOntario Centre in Hamilton.
- Niagara only shot 35% from the field, including an abysmal 4-29 (13%) from beyond the arc.
- Xavier Sneed led Niagara with 20 points while Daniel Waldin-Mullings had 13 points along with six rebounds, four assists, four steals and a block.
- The River Lions will have a rematch against the Honey Badgers on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. at home in the Meridian Centre.
