IceDogs Win Two In A Row – The Niagara IceDogs had a successful weekend defeating the first place Kitchener Rangers 4-3 in OT on Friday before defeating the Peterborough Petes 2-1 at home on Sunday afternoon. The IceDogs remain in last place in the Eastern Conference with a record of 6-15-4-1 and play at home on Thursday against Erie.
Falcons Split Weekend – The St. Catharines Falcons defeated Hamilton 5-4 in OT at home on Friday but then dropped a 5-2 decision in Welland on Sunday. The last place Welland Jr. Canadians had only 4 wins coming into Sunday’s game. The Falcons have a 17-6-0-1 record and are in third place in the Golden Horseshoe Conference.
