  • Federal officials are warning that Canada could be on the brink of a fourth wave of COVID-19 driven by the highly contagious Delta variant if the country opens too fast before enough people have been vaccinated. (City News)
  • While it’s not clear when the province will move out of Step 3, Ontario has announced that when it does the vast majority of public health measures, including capacity limits, will be lifted.  However, masks will continue to be required for indoor public settings. (610 CKTB)
  • The province has announced redevelopment plans for Ontario Place in Toronto. The facility will operate year-round and include an indoor water park and spa, a botanical garden, eight acres of free park and beaches; a larger redeveloped amphitheatre for year-round live events and an adventure park with obstacle courses, ziplines, climbing walls and rentals for kayaks and canoes.
