  • Niagara Public Health is reporting that Waverly Beach in Fort Erie is unsafe to swim due to algae while Charles Daley Park in Lincoln, Queen’s Royal Beach in Niagara-on-the-Lake, and Reebs Bay in Wainfleet are all unsafe to swim due to E.ecoli. (610 CKTB)
  • The Governments of Ontario and Canada are investing $66,000 in eight farm projects in Niagara West. (610 CKTB)
  • West Lincoln Mayor David Bylsma caused a stir at regional council meeting when he criticized Emily Spanton, a member of one of the Region’s advisory committees and Councillor Laura Ip. Bylsma said he was concerned over a tweet by Spanton which included an image of a burned church and three orange hearts while Ip was criticized for comments she made on CHCH News.
