Jackfish sign 2019 IBL Rookie of the Year
- The Welland Jackfish announced today the signing of 2019 Intercounty Baseball League Rookie of the Year Brendon Dadson.
- Dadson, who returns to the Jackfish following time spent in Australia and the United States, is currently finishing playing for the Wolfpac of the Yinzer League.
- With the Wolfpac, Dadson recorded a .369 average with 8 doubles, 2 triples, a home run, and 19 RBIs in 27 games played.
- The Jackfish are back in action on Thursday, July 22nd as they welcome the Kitchener Panthers to the Welland Stadium for a 7:30 pm game.
