Grand slam carries Jackfish to win
- The Welland Jackfish scored 5 runs in the 4th inning to defeat the Brantford Red Sox 10-7 at Welland Stadium Thursday night.
- Tony Kwonm hit a two out grand slam home run over the left-field wall in the 4th inning to erase a 5-1 deficit.
- The Jackfish added a pair of runs in the 7th and 8th innings.
- The Jackfish are back in action at home on Saturday afternoon against the Barrie Baycats at 1:05pm.
- Step 3 of Ontario’s Roadmap to Reopen now permits the Jackfish to have a capacity of 2130, which is 75% of seated capacity at the Welland Stadium.
