- The beach has been closed at this time and final laboratory results are expected in the coming days.
- Residents are advised to be cautious around blue-green algae as some can produce toxins which may be harmful to humans and pets who drink, play or bathe in the water.
- Fishing or consuming fish from areas where mats of algae are present is also not advisable.
