Management of Canada Games Park finalized
- Niagara Region, St. Catharines, Thorold and Brock University have entered into a long-term agreement to manage and operate Canada Games Park.
- The agreement will ensure all four partners are involved in the governance of Canada Games Park until at least the year 2050.
- The facility will be governed by a management committee with the day-to-day operations being managed by an independent operator.
- The complex will include a twin-pad arena, a 200-metre indoor track, a multipurpose fieldhouse, 6 outdoor beach volleyball courts and a 400-metre track-and-field facility.
- Substantial completion is expected by October 6 with full completion by the end of January 2022.
