- To reach positive COVID-19 cases and their close contacts, Niagara Region Public Health has started using a text messaging service.
- The messages will go out to individuals who have tested positive for COVID-19 or who have been identified as close contacts.
- Those who have tested positive will be directed to a web-based form where they can fill in their symptoms and close contacts.
- Messages will only be sent to those individuals who’s numbers were provided to the lab and all information is kept confidential.
